A GUIDED BREATHING PRACTICE FOR MOMS

Feeling stressed, worried or overwhelmed? Take a few minutes to pause and breathe.

Bee Breath is a traditional yogic breathing technique that uses gentle humming and a slow exhalation to encourage relaxation and focus.

The soft humming creates a gentle vibration that brings your attention to the present moment. This simple practice can be a helpful way to take a break from the demands of the day and reconnect with yourself.

In this short practice, you'll:

  • Use Bee Breath to create a moment of calm.

  • Bring your attention away from racing thoughts and into the present.

  • Take a short, mindful pause during a busy day.

  • Explore a breathing practice you may enjoy sharing with your children.

A note on safety: Keep your breathing comfortable and don’t force it. Stop if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable. Bee Breath may not be appropriate for everyone, particularly those with certain medical conditions, including some of the conditions listed in traditional guidance for this practice for example if you are prone to migraines, have unmedicated high blood pressure, an ear infection, chest pain, or epilepsy. If you have a medical condition or are unsure whether this practice is suitable for you, consult your healthcare professional before trying it.
