A CALMING BREATHING PRACTICE FOR MOMS

Rushing, overwhelmed, trying to control everything?

Take a few minutes to slow down and settle your mind with this gentle breathing practice for stress relief.

Breath suspension involves briefly pausing at the end of an exhalation. Practiced gently and without strain, it can help you cultivate stillness and invite physical and mental relaxation.

This short guided practice is designed for moments when you need to pause, reconnect with your breath, and let go of anxiety, tension and the need to overcontrol.

A few reminders before you begin:

  • Practice on an empty stomach.

  • Keep your breathing smooth and relaxed, without forcing the breath or the pause.

  • Only pause for a count that feels comfortable, and return to normal breathing at any time.

Safety note: This practice is not recommended during pregnancy or for those with a cardiac condition, slipped disc, lower back pain, or peptic or duodenal ulcers.
